I fell deeply in love with sauna the other year when I worked in Artic Sweden, personally maintaining a prestigious sauna. From then on, I knew this is the way forward. I have even been to a portable sauna festival with over 50 saunas there… I’m certainly an enthusiast
Now, I own 3 portable saunas and a sauna business which does public sauna events, sauna rentals, and use my sauna ~3 times a week. At the beach, in storms, in sand, max temps. I abuse my gear hardcore.

So without more annoying preamble, lets get into this. I separated the list by Country/Continent, because you might be reading this from Europe, North America, or other places.
I will also share with you my optimal budget DIY sauna tent system, for those who want to save some coin.
NOTE: I am ONLY covering sauna systems with wood-fired stoves. Infrared “saunas” are totally ignored here as they’re just… crap in comparison. Think microwave vs wood-fired oven…
NOTE 2: MOST manufacturers use white-label/rebranded products. Most can be sourced on Aliexpress, DHGate, or Alibaba. However, manufacturers warranties, import/shipping costs, product guarantee, etc is quite valuable. Up to you how to do it. I’ll start with premade systems.
Table of Contents
United States
The majority of sauna tent options in the US are white-label rebranded sauna tents and stoves, which, work absolutely fine, but it shows the standard of US vs Finnish saunas.
Still they work well and certainly will get hot enough to satisfy, they are as follows:
KYFE
Standard issue pop-up sauna tent, but with design improvements, nice colours, and stove which has a quality side-mount stone basket option (quite excellent to have!) Certainly one of the only brands out there to offer that option for a stove, which, makes a big difference!

Certainly a reputable brand with good customer support and a quality product.
Sweat Tent
Another standard white-label tent & stove combo, however the XL Sweat Tent is a unique to the tent sauna world and quite large in capacity!

The stove is smaller and the stone box as well – with proper fire building and temperature management you can still get it real hot, however it does have a disadvantage in heating output compared to some other options around.
Snowtrekker
The Snowtrekker x Stormy Kromer is actually the nicest (and most expensive) sauna tent system I’ve found yet. A very lovely canvas-style tent makes for a beautiful and unique change from the generic pop-up tents which cover most of my list.

The stove means business and has a relatively huge opening, which makes fire-building so, so much easier. You get what you pay for, and while the benches system is meh with feet-at-the-floor height, the stove & tent itself seems like a real winner.
OX Sweat Sauna
A well-priced option, the OX Sweat Sauna tents are based out of Hugo, Minnesota, with a unique hand-crafted portable bench system. A very strong stove relative to the size of the tent. The handmade benches system are a nice offering and quite effective.

While the tents and stove are a re-brand from OEM, they perform well and the company does offer a guarantee.
North Shore Sauna
A variety of options for pop-up sauna tents, a mini, small, medium, and large version, with the large Dome tent being the largest sauna tent on the market currently and with porting for use of 2 stoves.

US-based and free shipping for lower 48 – the North Shore Saunas have a good reputation and fair price.
Nippa
Nippa exclusively sells sauna stoves, and really good ones at that! Made in Michigan and seriously high-quality, they’ve been making them since 1930 and are the to-g0 for sauna stoves if you’re based in America. Real steel that will last decades.

Now, they’re relatively pricey and not at all ‘portable’ compared to the other stoves on this list, however I had to mention them especially if you are doing a DIY sauna system build.
Firefly Sauna
They have 2 tents and 2 stoves in their current lineup. Standard-issue pop-up tents in a nice colourway, and particularly a handmade in Minnesota Northwoods Stove. While I don’t have any performance metrics to share, I trust that the design is engineered well.

Fair prices, nice colours, and an effective design. Can’t go wrong here.
Canada
Not really many offerings available in Canada yet – for some reason, even as a snowy-cold country, sauna is not really something we’ve taken to yet! Anyways, here are the options:
Thermaculture
Typical pop-up sauna tent – good pricing, functional setup – one of Canadas few sauna tent vendors. Based out on Edmonton, AB. A smaller tent system with enough space for a few friends.

Europe
There are several sauna brands around Europe, not surprisingly most are based out of Scandinavia! They are as follows:
Bast (Sweden)
My first foray into sauna tents and I’ve deeply enjoyed packing 12+ people into it at the beach, at home, for retreats, etc. It has worked very well and the company themselves have been great at responding to feedback and making design changes – something I really like to see.

They have made several improvements over OEM including the stove and tent. Good quality-company and my unit has stood up to extreme abuse. I am able to get it to well over 100 degrees celcius and have thoroughly enjoyed using it. Highly recommend!
Hott (Sweden)
The Hott Flamman model is a unique sauna tent with a particularly good viewing area. I couldn’t find anywhere as a white-label product, so I figure their tent is unique, and the window view looks fantastic on it! The stove also has minor differences over other white-label. Seems like a nice product overall and at a good price.

The Hott Gnistan is the more compact offering and the entire system is a winner in terms of portability when compared to most sauna brands out there.
Telttasaana (Finland)
A unique sauna tent by a Finnish brand, their shining star is the Narvi Sauna Stove which they collaborated to create, and is by far the best portable wood-fired sauna stove for tents, bar none. Also a great bench and tent system, made in Finland. Top-tier sauna experience.
Savotta (Finland)
Another unique sauna tent by Finnish brand, they have a very well-priced and compact offering. Best for 1-4 people max. Nails the fundamentals of a quality sauna. Very Finnish indeed. Can certainly recommend.

The entire package is remarkably compact, effective, and very Finnish. Good prices with stove, stools, and tent bundled in. Not the largest system out there, but large. enough for a couple of friends.
Arctinar (Finland)
The Finns don’t mess around (notice a trend here??) and Arctinar has a custom-designed heater, tent, and bench system as well. These are also top-tier systems (all the Finnish ones are) and will perform better compared to any of the white-label pop-up systems out there.

They do custom sizing, colours, and everything. One of the more impressive sauna tent manufacturers out there.
Morzh (Global)
A white-label pop-up sauna tent brand with prices which are seriously impressive, my only gripe is the hideous colourways of most of their offerings. Small windows on the tents are a bit of a bummer, because otherwise the prices are the best on the market by far (aside from going direct to Aliexpress on the DIY route).

If you’re just wanting the absolute best bang-for-buck and willing to sacrifice some luxuries, without diving into the DIY scene, Morzh is the way to go. For the love of god, just get the black version though…
They have the Morzh.com and Morzh.eu for serving customers on both continents, and dealers around Europe and also in Japan.
UK
I’m only aware of one brand in the UK selling pop-up sauna tents. If you know more please comment below.
Portasauna
One of the UK-based tent sauna vendors with 4 tent models available. Their prices are a bit higher than the norm, however they have a solid product with good customer service and several small improvements over generic brands.

DIY Sauna Tent
True, you can source a whole sauna from AliExpress.
Now, there are certain things to know – warranty & support is pretty much non-existent, material safety and quality control is a gamble, and shipping/import fees is an additional step.
If saving a few hundred to a thousand is worth not having those features, then AliExpress option is totally viable. Otherwise, better to save headache and time and have a warranty by buying from a reputable brand.
NOTE: You should absolutely get your sauna stones from a trusted source like Harvia. Saving $30 is not worth the risk of an exploding stone. It can seriously injure you. Please buy name-brand stones from a sauna-specific manufacturer.
Anywho – source the desired sauna tent from any of the manufacturers. Pick your favourite. Add a stove. Bingo – that’s all you need.
Stones from Harvia and seating is a whole other ball game. I went simple with Ikea Nammaro seats, they are cheap, are built well, look the part, and accessible.
Now, if you want a two-level sauna bench to bring your feet to stone height, then I’d recommend to bite the bullet and purchase one of the bench systems the manufacturers offer, or custom fabricate your own system. I recommend just save the headache and buy one of the bench systems.
Summary
That’s the current list of all the portable sauna systems I know of.
I think it’s hard to go wrong in general. For me, I really say bigger is better because having a system which you can fully lay down in is just a game changer. Most people might not be packing them up and bringing them to the beach as frequently as I do, so then the size doesn’t matter.
It’s most important that you spend good money on quality sauna stones and wood; kiln-dried hardwood will make a world of difference.
